Up until now my life has been an adventure, but in the realm of normal experience, the sorts of things you hear of people doing. Now it gets weird.
In February 2025 a friend I hadn’t seen in a decade told me to read a book. I told him it sounded dumb. These stories are about what it showed me: that the voice in my head isn’t me, that my life is a story I’m living rather than writing, and that I was never broken, so there was nothing to fix.
Start with Busting Loose, which tells how I found it. The rest builds on it: what it means, a few parables I wrote to explain it, and what living this way is like now.
It won’t make you richer, and it won’t make you better. It makes everything lighter.
- Busting Loose It was February 2025. I hadn't seen my friend Stefan in a decade. We used to work together, but he was let go from our company under implications of impropriety. He also had a drug habit and an alcohol habit. A bit of a mess, my friend Stefan, but he was a brilliant marketer, fun to be around and a genuinely good person. Then he suddenly re-appeared in my life.
