Sanjay Singhal

I built everything I wanted, and still woke up anxious.

I’ve spent my life solving problems.

As a founder, investor, and serial tinkerer, I’ve built everything from software to champagne bars. Building was my oxygen. I liked puzzles that had solutions, equations that balanced, and businesses that scaled.

The only thing I couldn’t seem to solve was me.

By every external metric, life looked perfect. I’d built and sold Audiobooks.com, became a venture capitalist, opened a bar that made zero business sense but somehow worked, and launched a foundation for mental health. Yet the more I achieved, the less it felt like my life. More like watching someone else’s movie and realizing I didn’t love the script.

So I did what any overachiever does:
I ATTACKED IT.

Meditation, therapy, journaling, psychedelics, philosophy… I tried them all. Each worked for a bit. Each eventually collapsed. Until I had to face what no founder likes to admit:

Turns out, the problem wasn’t my tools.
It was the user.

At some point, I came across a course by a man named Robert Scheinfeld, one of those rare people who can talk about consciousness without turning it into mysticism. His ideas didn’t fix me; they just made sense. For the first time, I understood how the mind actually works and more importantly, how it doesn’t.

I didn’t become a follower.

I did what I’ve always done: tested the theory against real life through business decisions, family dinners, and the occasional 2 a.m. anxiety loop. What survived that stress test became the foundation for Enwakenment.

This isn’t about escaping emotion or trying to feel good all the time. It’s about seeing life clearly enough that it stops running you. When you understand how thought and feeling arise, stress still happens, but it doesn’t hijack your day. You stop fighting every wave and start noticing the calm underneath it all.

Now I share what I’ve seen, not to teach or convert anyone, but because clarity is too useful to keep to myself. If it helps someone else breathe a little easier inside their own life, that’s reason enough.

Soft shadow

This isn’t mysticism. It’s mechanics.

Like realizing the mind is just running code written long before you took credit for it.

That insight, that the “doer” we think we are is just part of a much bigger process, sounds abstract, but it’s the most practical thing I’ve ever discovered. Because when you see through the illusion of control, you stop burning energy trying to manage what’s already in motion.

Life doesn’t stop being busy; it just stops being personal drama.

That’s what Enwakenment really is: clarity. It’s understanding how reality actually works so the mind finally stops fighting it.

It’s the only freedom that doesn’t need affirmations, effort, or incense, just the willingness to see what’s true, even when it feels strange at first. Because what feels uncomfortable at the start ends up being the most comfortable thing in the world: life, exactly as it is.

And once you see that, you don’t have to become a monk or move to Bali. You just breathe easier while running the same companies, raising the same kids, and living the same life, minus the invisible weight.

Sanjay

Once you see the code, you stop trying to rewrite the universe.

Core Values

Clarity Over Comfort

Say what’s true, even if it unravels the story people cling to.

Humor as Honesty

Laughter is a sign that truth just landed.

Curiosity Without Dogma

Question everything and never lose your sense of wonder.

Depth
Without Drama

Wisdom doesn’t have to wear robes… it can wear jeans.

Integrity
in Simplicity

If it doesn’t hold up in plain English, it doesn’t hold up.

Book Me to Speak

If you want your people to think sharper, stress less, and see reality without the static, book me to speak. I unpack complex ideas about perception and control so they can lead, sell, and live with more clarity, and maybe even laugh while they do.
